About OMO 10

Omotenashi - or hospitality.

This is the word we keep coming back to in the pursuit of making great wine. Omotenashi  represents our belief that wines should welcome, please and delight. With every wine, we strive to express the warmth and generosity of the place it came from, and the selfless care of the people that grew and made it.

The Winemaker

“The true potential of a vineyard comes through many years of hard work and careful observation.” – Patrick Sullivan, winemaker

Patrick Sullivan was born and raised in Sonoma County and has been active in viticulture since he helped plant his family’s vineyard located on Sonoma Mountain. He has been working for highly regarded wineries in Napa and Sonoma for over 20 years. During this time he has built up an impressive resume starting with Peter Michael and has held the title of winemaker at Lewis Cellars, Paul Hobbs, Rudd, Spring Mountain and Boatique Winery.

Our Vineyards

Travel just south of the impressive Mount Konocti, and you will find Red Hills Estate: 45 acres with steep hillsides of high elevation volcanic soil. The land consists of gravel loam over clay loam, and unweathered bedrock. With conditions ideal for growing Bordeaux varietals, and a passion for mindful growing, our vision began. Lucky for us, in 2011 we became stewards of this truly incredible property.

Our Wines

Graceful, yet vibrant, OMO 10 wines were created to please and delight. From our explosive 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon to our tropically refined 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, we hope you’ll enjoy our inaugural releases.
